We love joining our voices in song with other choirs. Notable collaborations have included IR Griffith Primary, Jubilate and  Holy Cross College Choirs, the Welsh Male Voice Choir of South Africa, The Men in Red (Welsh Male Voice Choir of Johannesburg), The German Choir, The JNF Jewish Ladies Choir, Richard Kok’s Massed Choir, RMK (Randburg Mannekoor/Men's Choir) Russell Singers, Coro Guiseppe Verde (Italian choir), the Alter Irving Band and one of our highlights, The Soweto Gospel Choir. We have also sung with the Salvation Army Band, the De La Salle Pipe Band and the Busk Brass Quintet.

 

The choir has combined to sing with the Meander Choir both in the KZN Midlands and in Johannesburg. Performances have been given at various venues in the Midlands including Clifton Preparatory School and Weston Agricultural College.

 

We have also staged our own more intimate concerts including a concert at the Derek Lewis Room at Wits University Education Campus where the members of the choir have been able to showcase their own talents.

 

Christmas 2003-2013- carols at Bryanston Organic Market, Ngwenya Glass, St George’s Church, Nazareth House, St Augustine’s University, Inanda Country Club, Bryanston Country Club, Wanderers and Brightwater Commons.

 

Sandton Choir is very popular at retirement villages where our blend of Golden Oldies, Hollywood favourites and timeless classics is much appreciated. Venues include the Pembury, Golden Harvest, Bryanston Village, Randjeslaagte, Willowbrooke,  Nazareth House, Deansgate, Garden Village and Riverside Retirement Homes.

 

Our concerts have helped raise funds for such causes as the SPCA, Hospice, SA Guide Dogs and Nkosi's Haven
